Traditional foils lift hair from close to the root, which makes them the right choice when you want noticeable, even brightness or full blonde coverage. Babylights use much finer sections for a softer, almost childlike shimmer that is subtle up close. Balayage, painted by hand, places light through the mid-lengths and ends instead. Many of our favourite results combine techniques — foils around the face, painting through the back — and your stylist will explain what each would look like on your hair before any colour is mixed.

How often will I need my highlights refreshed?
A full or partial foil typically wants refreshing every eight to twelve weeks, depending on how close to the root we lift and how much contrast there is with your natural colour. Between visits, a gloss appointment revives tone and shine in under an hour. Your stylist will suggest an honest schedule at your first appointment — one built around your hair, not around filling the diary.
Keeping blonde bright in the Florida sun

We recommend a sulphate-free colour-safe shampoo, a weekly bonding or moisture mask, and a toning wash once brassiness begins to creep in.
