From Verdana Village to the Chair: A Note to Our Corkscrew Corridor Neighbors
If you live along Corkscrew Road, you don’t need us to tell you the corridor is booming — you sit in the evidence at the Ben Hill Griffin light. Verdana Village, The Place at Corkscrew, WildBlue, Bella Terra: whole neighborhoods have grown up east of I-75 faster than the maps app can keep its labels straight. New streets, new schools, new routines — and, sooner or later, the question every new household gets around to: okay, but who’s going to do my hair?
We’d like to introduce ourselves.
Where we are (and how long it really takes)
Canterbury & Co. sits inside Gulf Coast Town Center, right at I-75 and Alico Road on the Fort Myers–Estero line. From most of the corridor, you’re looking at roughly fifteen to twenty-five minutes door to door — closer to fifteen from Bella Terra or WildBlue, closer to twenty-five from the far ends of Verdana Village, and honestly, a little more if Corkscrew is having one of its mornings. We won’t pretend it’s around the corner. But it’s the same trip you already make for Target runs and date nights, and there’s easy parking right outside the door.
The practical bit: our booking calendar is live online around the clock, so you can line an appointment up with a Town Center errand and make one trip do two jobs — a tour of the website shows everything else you can sort out without picking up the phone. Weekday evenings we’re open until 7:00pm — late enough to come after school pickup has ruined your afternoon.
Why neighbors make the drive
The corridor has plenty of places to get your hair done closer to home, and some of them are good. What we offer is a particular way of working: every appointment starts with an unhurried consultation, the Canterbury Color Team specializes in Wella Professionals color, and — per Bumble and bumble’s own salon locator — we’re the area’s only Bb.Exclusive salon. Mostly, though, what our corridor clients tell us is simpler: they found a salon that listens, and twenty minutes stopped mattering.
