Welcome to the Team, Evelyn
Every good salon team grows carefully, and we’re delighted to introduce our newest member: Evelyn Mendez, who joins Canterbury & Co. as an Associate.
Evelyn comes to us from Robert of Philadelphia and has just achieved her Florida cosmetology license — the milestone every stylist remembers for the rest of their career. Congratulations, Evelyn.
What an Associate does
At Canterbury & Co., the Associate role is the start of a deliberate path. Rather than being thrown straight at a full book, our Associates train inside the salon’s standards from day one — supporting the team at the basin and the blow-dry chair, assisting on services, and working through the Associate Training Program with every stylist on the floor as a teacher. It’s how we make sure that by the time someone takes their own chair here, “trained the same way” is simply true.
So when Evelyn shampoos you in, or finishes your blow-out — that’s not a side-station formality. That’s the next generation of Canterbury & Co. learning the standard, one guest at a time.
Say hello
If you’re in over the coming weeks, you’ll meet her. Be kind to her Fort Myers knowledge — she’s learning where everything is faster than any of us did — and join us in welcoming her to the floor. (And if you’ve been thinking about making Canterbury & Co. your salon, our switching guide makes the first step painless.)
New faces aren’t the only news this summer, either — the tour of our website covers everything the salon now offers online, booking calendar included.
