Every good salon team grows carefully, and we’re delighted to introduce our newest member: Evelyn Mendez, who joins Canterbury & Co. as assistant to founder Alli Canterbury.
Evelyn supports the floor day to day — helping the team stay organized, assisting at the basin, and making sure the details behind every appointment run smoothly. She’s also fluent in Spanish, which means clients who are most comfortable describing what they want in Spanish now have someone right here to liaise with, especially during color consultations, so nothing gets lost between what you’re picturing and what your stylist hears.
Evelyn doesn’t perform color, cuts, or other services herself — that stays with our licensed, trained stylists, exactly as it would for any client. Her role is communication and support: if you’d like to book or consult in Spanish, just mention it when you call or book, and we’ll make sure she’s on hand. If you’re in over the coming weeks, you’ll meet her. Be kind to her Fort Myers knowledge — she’s learning where everything is faster than any of us did — and join us in welcoming her to the floor.
